With hearts both heavy and hopeful, the Jones family is going to open their hearts to those that do and do not know Wyatt. Wyatt is a 17 year old boy that lives in Oakdale, California. Wyatt is an amazing big brother and outstanding young man with jokes to tell for years. He loves to watch anime but most of all he loves his family. He is amazing at drawing and likes to spend his spare time drawing characters.

January 30th Wyatt went to the doctor then to the hospital to be told he had pneumonia.

February 10th he went to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto then was transferred by ambulance to Sutter Health Sacramento.

February 11th Wyatt and his family was given the devisatening news he has leukemia.

February 13th Wyatt received bone marrow and a lumbar puncture test. Then in the same day received his first chemo treatment.

February 14 The doctors confirmed the diagnosis of ( AML ) Acute myeloid leukemia.

This type of cancer normally is found in older people, in turn his treatment plan will be different from a lot of the others that have the same cancer.

As of now the cancer treatment plan is chemotherapy daily. Days that are decided as off days he will receive blood transfusions, platelet transfusions and on going bone marrow test. He will undergo intensive treatment for the next 4-6 months in the Hospital, then continue treatment until the cancer is gone.
